Finally Kim Kardashina tied knot with famous NBA basketball star Kris Humphries. After the Royal wedding in April, Kim Kardashian the famous Hollywood celebrity always wanted her marriage to be as big as the Kate Middleton and Prince William wedding. At last this dream of her got fulfilled on 20 August 2011. She was looking very happy on the day of wedding; her family also supported her to get the desired list of things that she wanted to have in her wedding.
The list of things which were quite similar in price range and similar to the Royal wedding were the cake, wedding ring, exclusive rights to show wedding on TV, long list of high profile people invitations including many celebrities.
Kim Kardashian had given the rights to premiere her wedding on E!. The wedding TV show of Kim will get premiered on 9 and 10 Oct 2011. It will be in two parts, first part will be shown on 9 Oct and the second part on 10 Oct 2011. This program will show all the preparation of event and the marriage itself. Kim is very happy to compare her marriage with the Royal wedding as both are getting huge popularity and both are shown on the TV. The only difference between the two will be that the Royal wedding event was a live telecast and Kim’s wedding program will be on TV after four months of their marriage.
The wedding cake of Kim’s marriage was of 20 tier and it was taller than her. The cost was around $18000. It was also very similar to the Royal wedding cake, the only difference is that Kate Middleton was looking tall as her height is 5’10 inch.
The wedding rings were also precious for both wedding. In terms of cost both are heavily costly but with the Royal wedding ring the Royal status is joined which makes it rarer than Kim’s ring.
Both wedding have huge media attention and both have raised huge amount of money from the gifts. Some sources have also reported that marriage of Kim is almost free to her as the money from the rights to premiere the TV program of her wedding and gifts have recovered more than she spent on her wedding.
At last we can say that both were high profile wedding of 2011, but the Royals have little edge over the Kim’s wedding after all the Royals are Royal.
